From Within The Microwave…
The Mug Mix Story
Founded by a husband & wife team and alongside some close friends, we set out to bring the ritual of flower to edibles. When choosing edibles, we missed the sensory experience: The scent of fresh-ground bud, sound of crinkling paper, the sight of a bright lighter flame. We asked ourselves – How can we replicate this for edibles?
Our solution was the mug cake – a simple cake mixed and cooked in a mug, using only a microwave. By creating an infused mug cake, we introduce ritual that results in a freshly-made edible. The intoxicating aroma of vanilla, the hum of the microwave, the sight of steam rising from that first perfect bite – we had created an edible experience, and we loved it.
So, we decided to share, and launched MJ’s Mug Mix. Though we’ve grown a lot since our first mug cakes, we still adhere to our core principles:

We prioritize real, natural ingredients and limit ultra-processed ingredients. We don’t use anything we don’t need.
